Cannot believe I have to wait until NEXT DECEMBER for their wedding. Never have I connected so well with a couple so quickly - all the laughing and all the feels. Stoked to know these two.
Meagan and Tim were one of my first booked couples for 2018 so I had been looking forward to their wedding for over year! They had their wedding in their hometown, where they fell in love - how amazing is that?! It was just one of those days where everything fell into place perfectly and the chemistry between these two was just so overwhelming and inspiring. Basically the easiest wedding day of the year lol We ended their day at the most amazing venue on the water with the most incredible sunset before everyone danced the night away.
A huge congrats to Meagan and Tim - so so honored to have captured this incredible day for you!
I hadn't actually met Shelby or Max prior to their wedding - which I don't do often - so I didn't really know what to expect besides the little creeping I'd done on Shelby's Insta. Right away, I was greeted with such kindness from Shelby and her mom and bridesmaids. I instantly felt at home honestly, like I'd known them for years. And in that instant, I knew in my heart how special this day would be. Words cannot describe how much love there was in this single day (like thank goodness there's photos). Like all the friggin feels for these two who not only made me cry but also created one of the most beautiful days I've ever photographed.
It's stories like this you guys that make me so damn thankful for this job and this life.
Met these two once again at their home close to New Haven for their wedding at the cutest restaurant, Roia. Their first look was one of the sweetest I've had the opportunity to photograph. I loved how true to themselves they wanted to keep their day, inviting a small group of people to attend and even walking down the aisle together. Just goes to show that you can literally do whatever the heck you want for your wedding.
I. Love. Destination. Engagements. This weekend was a highlight of my summer season. I traveled to Forks, Washington to meet up with Tina and Andrew for their engagement session on the coast. We met at Hoh Rainforest and then made our way to La Push beach for some moody vibes. Tina had a vision to do these in her first email to me and I looooooved it! Cannot wait to hang with these two again next year for their gorgeous St. Louis wedding!
Christina had the coolest vision for her and Will's engagements! We started out in their hotel room (they came all the way from Tulsa - feels) with pancakes and little bubble bath before heading out to a sun-drenched field. These are some of my fav shots ever. Love these two and so pumped for their wedding next year!
This session has been sitting in my blog queue for TOO long!! I spent my birthday weekend in San Francisco with my husband exploring and eating and enjoying that perfect Cali weather. We met up with Mami and DJ for their engagements and spent a few hours in Muir Woods (a bucket list location). Then headed to the city to romp around the streets for a few shots before racing to the beach to catch the sun just about to set. We capped off the night with literally the best Chinese food I've ever had and talking all about life and marriage and Hawaii - oh yeah, that's where they are getting married, HOW FREAKING UNREAL IS THAT. Their wedding in October can't come soon enough! So much love for this couple and so SO excited to hang with them later this year!
I look forward to every wedding I have the opportunity to photograph, but this one especially because I had the chance to return to the place where I was married just a few months prior. I love this venue because it has so much natural beauty that really enhances every couple's vision for their day. Literally not enough nice things to say about this place or this couple. I've enjoyed SO much working with Taylor and Dan over the past months. They are both so fun to be around and the love they have for each other is crazy apparent. Basically making my job so easy!
I'm so excited for these two and their new life together!
