PIA + SHANE // BETHESDA TERRACE INTIMATE WEDDING

PIA + SHANE

These two flew all the way from New Zealand to wed in Central Park with just their parents, closest friends, and little girl. I was so honored to spend the morning at Bethesda Terrace with them and afterwards heading back to their hotel for a quick toast of champagne to celebrate this milestone. All the love to Pia and Shane!

COLOMBA + CHINO // WINTER LADY PAVILION ELOPEMENT

COLOMBA + CHINO

Colomba and Chino came all the way from South America along with some family and friends to elope in Central Park. Little did we all know New York would be hit with a snow storm just a couple of days prior. Their intimate ceremony was absolutely stunning with the backdrop of a snow covered city and an almost empty park. They were all smiles cuddling into each other the entire time-SO cute!! Super happy for these two!

SIENNA + JONATHAN // DUMBO BROOKLYN ENGAGEMENTS

SIENNA + JONATHAN

Theses guys are a dream- so stylish, modern, and super into each other. I had the best time running around NYC with them the other weekend for their engagements. And I have to say, I am way too pumped for their wedding in March. Love these people!

KENDAL // GRAPEVINE LAKE BRIDALS

KENDAL

This girl. I can't even begin to tell you how much this girl means to me. When Kendal asked me to be her bridesmaid for her New Years Day wedding, I was ecstatic! She and her now husband, Carlos, have been dating for 10 years and I've been lucky to know them for a good portion of those. Kendal and I played high school volleyball together and since then we have remained close. We have one of those friendships where we can go a long time without seeing each other, but when we do have the chance, it's as though nothing has changed between us. I still feel like my 16 year-old self when I see her!

I was more than willing to photograph her bridals a few days before her wedding. We ventured to Grapevine Lake one afternoon, wedding gown and all, and took some of the most beautiful images! My friend makes one STUNNING bride. I was a little nervous as this was my first time photographing a friend professionally, but to say we made the afternoon a good time would be an understatement.

Kendal, you are absolutely beautiful and I could not be more happy for you and Carlos! To the new Mrs. Neaves!

JIMENA + BRANDON // WINTER CENTRAL PARK ELOPEMENT

JIMENA + BRANDON

When New York does weather, it really does it right. I knew there was a chance of snow (the first of the season!) the weekend of Jimena and Brandon's elopement, but little did I know the entire city would be blanketed in at least 4 inches. The morning of the ceremony there was a gorgeous, soft fall of snow and we were all so excited for the photo opportunities. But leave it to chance, by the time I came out of the subway stop by the entrance near Gapstow Bridge, the snow had turned to icy rain. Jimena and Brandon were serious troopers, deciding to have the ceremony outside AND continue with photos afterwards.

These two were a dream- they stood in the rain in the freezing snow and walked with me throughout much of the park. When you see a snow-covered Central Park with almost nobody around, you take advantage of every last minute. And we did exactly that.

This was the best way to cap off a successful 2016 wedding season and I am beyond thrilled (and a little anxious) for all my 2017 weddings! Here is a quick look at our little morning together. So freaking happy for these guys!

MARTHA + CHARLES // BOW BRIDGE ENGAGEMENTS

MARTHA + CHARLES

Back at it in Central Park with these lovers! I picked the busiest time of the day to meet Martha and Charles for their engagement session, but we made it work for us! The park is easy to get lost in and we did exactly that, finding hidden trails and intimate little groves to run around in. I loved their attitude and how comfortable they felt with me, even after asking them to "frolick in the field."

VERONICA + BEN // WILLIAMSBURG BRIDALS

VERONICA + BEN

Love these humans! I photographed their wedding on a gorgeous evening in September (see my weddings page!), but didn't have a chance to take their much wanted bride and groom portraits. A few weeks later we met in Williamsburg for a quick session, post-wedding but just as much excitement and love as they did the day of their ceremony. I have really loved getting to know these two, they even allowed me to capture some intimate moments with their daughter (the cutest little girl!), an opportunity itself I am super humbled and grateful for.

This was our afternoon together, so excited about where my work is going...
